I am drawing in spaces between water and air.

While 'to draw' in artistic sense means to mark-make, its full definitions include,  to pull or drag, to extract from a container, to be the cause of, and to be filled with wind,  all of which indicate the flow of energy and matter.  Perhaps, drawing water is more than natural in its ontological sense,  a metaphysical activity in physical response to the flow of the universe.
