  Introduction

All is event within perception. [One]

We see the universe in colors of spectrum:

red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet …

 

Human eyes perceive these wavelengths of visible electromagnetic radiation,

or simply light.

 

To see, therefore, is to sense the light-waves

which penetrate the physical layer and affect the ethereal state of a body.

 

 

Seeing is feeling.

 

    In our etheric bodies reside cosmic energy called Prana through which light flows. Along with a spinal ganglion, Chakras—vortexes of light and energy flows between the physical realms and all other Dimensions—are located in compliance with individuals' altitude of vision. In reaction to light-wave from which they absorb energies, chakras constantly vibrate. Their colors, shapes, sizes, body organs, emotional functions, and endocrine systems correspond to one's development of body, mind and soul. [3]

In color therapy theories, Chakra is the center of color energy source. [4] It is proven to heal patients by balancing energies and deepening consciousness.  The cure isn't  necessarily  technical. Rather, it is  ethereal as in Transpersonal Psychology or Spiritual Psychology--experiences in which the sense of identity or self extends beyond (trans) the individual or personal to encompass wider aspects of humankind, life, psyche or cosmos [6] .

 

   A simple psychology is that humans feel good when experienced with beauty.

 

 

In 21st century, the idea of 'beauty' varies with all kinds of connotations. However, in the most basic sense, beauty is what we feel from looking into Nature, the greatest inspiration of all creation. Art Nouveau from 1890 to 1910  pursued beautiful ornamental  designs inspired by the unruly aspects of the natural world.  Sinuous lines and “whiplash” curves were derived, in part, from botanical studies and illustrations of deep-sea organisms such as those by German biologist Ernst Heinrich Haeckel in  Kunstformen der Nature.

 

There is no sense of absolute  time or space in nature. Flowers, trees, crystals, mountains, river, ocean, clouds, stars... they bloom and weather, emerge and destroy, forever encircling in enlarging patterns.  

Nature is what we observe in perception through the sense. [2]

 

  Seeing colors is feeling nature's energies.

We ourselves are part of the nature as color, light, and energy within a body.

 

 

As  lotuses with active petals, imageries of chakras have been produced  in Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and other contexts of culture.  The earliest chakra  tracks back to the 14th century in Tibetan's Sand Mandala[5]—a cosmic diagram of color powers—, and continues throughout the 21st century's modern forms of art, including Marvel Studios' “Doctor Strange” in 2016.  What I aim to add  in this course of Chakra pursuit is the animation of spirit. Although in sand art the abrupt disruption of mandala as a final gesture after a meticulous, meditative process indicates samsara, the image itself tends to be bound by  fixation or absolutism, which is a quality of social construct.  Nature never ceases to be, and I would like to animate my Chakras  with energy.

 

This  is the electronic domain that is accessible for the viewers using screens. Physical installations, where one can be  dimensionally immersed,  will be available throughout different times and spaces of the world.
